Stealing Books

Apparently, the Bible is the most frequently stolen book at BookPeople in Austin. At St. Marks in NYC, it’s (big surprise) “books by Martin Amis, Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Raymond Carver, Don DeLillo and Jack Kerouac.”

Women writers are the least frequently stolen. Make of that what you will.
