Ha! I was a normal being and I was horrified. But it made sense–I mean, I hated that movie, but at least the story of the Titanic itself is compelling, even if the Leo/Kate storyline wasn’t for me. But Avatar just sounds so derivative. And I can’t believe how people are so nutty about for it.

Seeing Avatar and the ensuing buzz has made it all too clear what it must have been like to be normal human being during the Titanic craze (i.e. not a strangely Titanic-obsessed 7th grade girl).

The movie was. not. good. I’m a sucker for love stories, no matter how cheesy, and even I didn’t like this. That’s gotta be saying something.
