Do you hate the Weekender commercial like I do?

Of course you do. Who wouldn’t hate a commercial which seems to have one aim: make New York Times readers look as pretentious and assholely as possible? I especially like the guy in the suit and tie who says, “The best journalists in the world work for the Times…and there’s no debating that.” Oh, there’s no debating that, is there? Get the fuck out of here, you pretentious jerk–you’re making me and all the other readers of the New York Times (which is a paper I really do love and read every morning and if they start charging for content I might have to kill myself) look like steamy maggot-faces.

Luckily, a group of very funny people, including Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, and Paul Rudd have skewered this godawful commercial. Please watch and enjoy.
