I’ve only recently become aware of Joe’s wonderful writing, and was very excited to have the chance to feature him in the latest issue of Emprise Review

Joe has the uncanny, almost old-fashioned ability to wait you down and weave a story before your eyes in this absorbing, mesmerizing way. No, not weaving–constructing, and no wonder, since Joe is also a talented architect. He knows how to build a proper story.
